PROFILE |
|
Supreme Being, Leicester born and bred has jumped into the dnb scene at rapid speed with his own unique sound and style that has turned the heads of many and, has had plays from some of the biggest names in the industry from DJ Hype, Hazard, Original Sin, Sub Zero, Taxman and the list goes on. It all started for him back in 2007 when he decided he was going to start producing and be a part of what he grew up listening to all those years from when it was Techno & Jungle and then dnb.
He was influenced by the sounds of “The Prodigy” and the Virus sound of “Ed Rush and Optical” and the darkness of the “MetalHeadz” and found an obsession was starting for him on how he could make his own music in his own way so he got some software and some sample packs and started his journey in 07.
Half way down the line he met up with Subzero at a night they were both djing at and they quickly became good friends with each other. Subzero took an interest in what Supreme Being was doing and gave him the help in which he needed to get things on the right path and showed him the basic’s of production to help him on his way. About 6 months later Supreme Being had made his first tune that was worth playing out and that week Taxman, SubZero and Original Sin played it out in all there sets, to see everyone dancing to what he had created was the fuel he needed to make him work harder so he took to the studio pretty much 24/7 working day and night on his music and reading books until he knew he was ready to give some finished products to Jake and Adam for Propaganda Recordings and straight the way the two snapped up “Tune In” & “Just Teasin” and signed up Supreme Being onto Propaganda Recordings & Image Musik.
Instantly both tunes made an impact for Supreme Being as Taxman played “Tune In” as his re-wind track on his interview on “Radio 1′s Fabio and Grooverider show and the rest is still unrolling with further releases and remix’s happening.
With more and more dancefloor smashers coming from this guy, you'll need to brace yourselves when he hits the decks.
