TNT Dancers TOUR DATES are available for bookings but subject to availability. PROFILE The TNT Dancers are the original jungle/drum & bass dance troupe. Founded in 1995 by Jennifer Lake & Terri Martinez, when their respective dance crews "A Tribe Called Jungle" (Sour Records, Shy FX, T Power, MC Dett) & TMT - Too Much Talk (Raindance, Jungle Fever) merged to create the Totally Natural Talent Dancers. A name given to them by the legendary rave promoter Terry Turbo, who was so stunned by their explosive stage shows, he likened them to dynamite - hence the creation of "TNT". As Jennifer & Terri combined their energies together - they were rapid in becoming a force to be reckoned with! They set about securing contracts all over the underground dance music scene, which took them to Europe, Japan with UK Apache, Brazil with Adam F for the Fabio & Grooverider tour then to the States & beyond. Back in the day, they reigned as one of the most successful dance crews the scene has ever seen!! Holding residencies at prolific events such as Helter Skelter, Best of British, Cream of the Crop and the infamous 1Nation. By the year 2000, TNT were featuring as the dancers for the hit Channel 4 Ali G Show. Following this, Terri went alongside MC Creed as the selected dance/style consultant on the reality TV Show Fakin It. In 2002, TNT stepped of the rave scene in a natural progression to pursue their endeavors in the media arena. A couple of years later however, Jen & Terri felt it was time again to take the scene they were born of, by storm once again, and thus set about training up a team of girls to create the new breed of the TNT Dancers. In the last year since they have officially re-launched (Knowledge Mag August), the girls have toured all over the UK as Hip Hop Honeys to promote the release of the DVD, performed for Zulu Nations Africa Bambaata at the Ministry of Sound and have been back on the road with UK Apache. Other artists TNT have recently worked with include Shy FX, Sway, Stanton Warriors, Foreign Beggars, The Streets, Mitchell Brothers, and also performed at the MOBO awards, MP3 awards and many more!! The sexy stunners have smashed up the drum and bass scene as well as taking their explosive stage shows into the House, Breakbeat, Oldskool Bassline & genre’s, performing live all over the UK including events such as BREAKIN SCIENCE, MOONDANCE, HYSTERIA, STICKY, DIRTY ANGELS OF FUNK, THE VINYL TOUCH, BEST OF BRITISH, EPIDEMIK, SUNSHINE DAZE & INNOVATION just to name a few! The highly energetic and dedicated ladies train weekly to ensure they remain at the top of their game & together this diverse foursome are unstoppable, untouchable and unpredictable with there dynamic dance shows keeping you mesmerised and hypnotised by their own individual unique style and stage personality which when combined together can only be described as HYPNOTIQ! TNT dancers have spread there wings internationally hitting the Electro house scene with contracts in Pacha Sharm El Sheikh (through Nu Energy Dancers) and this year TNT travelling across the seas again, this time to Innovation, Barcalona, Aiya Napa & Amsterdam as well as smashing up the U.K house scene at club nights such as Dirty Angels Of Funk, Electro Me to Death, Head Funk, SIN plus many more. She has also appeared in many music videos and also featured model on the VAUXHALL CAR ADVERT. NICKY: Fast, hard & with raw sex appeal, Nicky’s fiery presence can b felt a mile off. She has performed on all the STREETS TOUR VISUALS & was one of the featured dancers for DYNAMITE MC music video. She has danced for many leading promoters across the UK including GODSKITCHEN, TIDY, HED KANDI & also has international contracts with PACHA in SHARM EL SHEIKH, EGYPT. BECCA: The baby of the group, Becca’s style is captively smooth and sexy. She is the mirror image of her sister Naomi and the sight of these 2 beautifully exotic girls on stage together makes a HYPNOTIQ impact. She has performed on the HIP HOP HONEYZ TOUR and music videos include DMX, TATIANA and KELE LE ROC. CHARLENE: Sexy, poised and agile, Charlene is a trained gymnast which brings discipline to her dancing. She has performed at the MOBO Awards and has appeared in many other music videos including THE STREETS and THE MITCHELL BROTHERS and featured dancer for DYNAMITE MC video.
