Music has always been a major part of my life, back to when I was a child, it has helped me to learn. It has infiltrated every part of my life from reading and memorising to progress to where I am today.
The first time I got on a mic I was 8 years old, it was at a party full of teenagers, and it made me believe that I could do what they were doing, but better.
At the age of 14 I went into partnership with four other friends by opening up our own radio station which went by the name of Storm FM. This station continued for 3 years, then we all had other arrangements to progress our careers, mine was a family and football. After being scouted, I played semi-professional for Beckenham Town and South Harrow in the Ryman Premiership. Unfortunately I sustained an injury, which discontinued my career.
Whilst playing football, I continued to write lyrics and practice with friends. This gave me the chance to get back into the scene, but on a greater scale. All my attention was focussed on the music, progressing to drum and bass, garage and dubstep.
In 2006 I started to infiltrate the raves again to get my face known in turn this helped me to get onto Rinse FM. This radio played out to the Kent area, promoters heard me and gave me bookings for well known events in this county.
I started going to raves in London every week, standing next to the MC's all night trying to get onto the mic, but however to no avail.
In 2007 I went to Innovation in the Sun, entered the MC competition, got to the semi-finals on my first competition and blew the place up. Afterwards I got told by DJ Network (organiser of the MC competition) that: 'I should have won'. From this he gave me his phone number and he started to book me for Innovation/Nu Generation and One Nation/Nu Nation.
I then became more recognised and getting bookings for small events, i.e. parties, to big events such as Innovation.
Now, I am booked up to play at various major events, such as:
• One Nation
• Innovation in the Sun
• Random Concept
• Pure Science
• Sunbeatz
