“UNIVERSAL TRUTH” The Album
Following the massive success of their singles ‘American Beauty’ and ‘Strength 2 Strength’, the London-Liverpool connection of Matrix & Futurebound are hard at work in the studio and have announced that they’re currently in the process of recording an album. The album ‘Universal Truth’, aims to cover a number of different flava’s, stitched together in Matrix & Futurebound’s unique style, and will feature a liberal sprinkling of special guest vocalists. With ‘American Beauty’ being championed by the likes of Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, Annie Mac and Pete Tong as well as every D&B DJ worth his salt, this project promise’s crossover potential. Those in the know are already clamouring to get their hands on a copy of the first single from the album, the monstrously large ‘Universal Truth’ and the deeply uplifting ‘Skyscraper’, which are being hammered exclusively by the lucky few that have them. Other highlights so far completed, are the hauntingly beautiful ‘Tears’ featuring legendary house vocalist Robert Owens, the gargantuan ’Kniterider’, the air guitar soundclash that is ‘The Edge’. Also in the pipeline are solo efforts from Matrix & Futurebound, as well as a special vocal mix of ‘American Beauty’. To coincide with the full release of the album in March 2007 comes the ‘Universal Truth’ tour featuring Matrix & Futurebound, hosted by the one and only MC Darrison along with MC Tonn Piper also available for dates. | ||
